[기초영문법] Be 동사의 부정문 not '~아니다, ~ 않다'

 

1. Be(am, are, is)동사의 부정문: Be 동사(am, are, is) 뒤에 not 이 오며 '~아니다, ~않다'로 해석함. 

 

ex) They are _______ my shoes. 내 신발이 아니야. 

 

answer) not 

 

 

ex) Today's lunch is _________ deliciouse. 오늘 점심은 맛이 없어.

ex) 우리말과 일치하도록 영어문장으로 적어보자.

3. 그는 배고프지 않아.   _______  ________  ________ hungry.

2. Be동사(am, are, is)의 줄임형 

 

ex) 나는 친구들과 있지 않다. ______ ______ with my frieds. 

     나의 형과 누나는 용감하지 않다. My brother and sister    _________  brave. 

     그들은 십대가 아닙니다. _________  _______ teenagers. 

 

answer) I'm not / aren't /  They're not   

 

 

 

Tip: Be동사 줄임이 되지 않는 것:  I am not  -> I'm not (O), I amnot(X) 

                                           This is not -> This's(X), This isn't(O)

 

3. Be동사(am, are, is)의 의미  

부정문	의미
be not + 명사	~(가) 아니다
be not + 장소, 위치	~(가) 없다, 있지않다.
be not + 형용사	~(지) 않다

 

 

ex) 이 물은 뜨겁지 않다. This water ___________ hot. 

     나는 경찰관이 아니다. _______  ________ a police officer.

     저 책들은 탁자위에 있지 않다. Those bookds _________ on the table.
